How To Choose A Shower Curtain Liner

Shower curtain liners are essential as it not only saves the bathroom from getting dirty with water spilling everywhere as you take bath but also makes the bathroom looks big. The bathroom essentially is saved from getting wet and that helps keep away from mildew and bacteria. There are a variety to choose from right from plain shower curtain lines to printed and colourful ones. But before you bring home the one of your choice, weigh the need and the pros and cons of the cusrtain liner. Make sure you have the best one.  

 
Before you begin your search for a shower curtain liner, you need to measure the length of the tub. Once you et the measurement of the tub, you would be able to determine the length of the curtain liner. There are a lot of varieties for you to choose from. You can get extra-long or extra wide ones depending on your need.
 
The next step would be to know how you would be using the shower curtain liner. Do you want to combine it with a fabric or you want to use it alone. Vinyl is another option you can ask for. In whatever way you may use it, whether in combination or alone, it is sure to keep your bathroom from water damage.
 
Now make the choice and select a curtain liner material according to your need. As you know, Vinyl and fabric are most commonly used materials for curtain liner. Vinyl, because of its heaviness stops water leakage and fabric on the other hand is less in weight and can be washed easily.
 
Now once you have decided what liner to go for, add a little color to your bathroom. Pick a liner with a colour that compliments your bathroom. They are available in light and bright shades. They are available in various prints too. Though clear plastic liners is also that you can choose. White or cream shower liners are easy to watch and needs no special treatment. There are liners with reinforced holes that are more long lasting. You could also opt for them but they cannot be machine washed.
 
Buy a shower curtain liner that has a magnetic bottom. This will allow you to keep the liner in place as and when you take bath.
 
1.Some shower liners are bacteria resistant. Ask for these. Since water can sit on the liner every time you take bath, bacteria is likely to spoil it. So buy only the ones that guarantees you no bacteria. This will also help increase the life of the liner.
