How To Clean A Clothes Dryer

In this busy world it is hard to find spare time for washing and cleaning your clothes. Every household has a clothes washers and dryers which provides them clean and hygienic clothes all the time. Fully automatic machines have washers and dryers both built within it but in case you have clothes washers and clothes dryers separately then you must have noticed white spots, water marks etc. on your clothes dryer which are quite hard to remove.

In this article I will explain how you can remove stains from your clothes dryer and how you can keep the dryer clean. Please leave me a comment and share your experiences of cleaning a clothes dryer.

Before you start cleaning the clothes dryer, always unplug the dryer to avoid any kind of mishaps. Nowadays there are various gar dryers available in the market. If you are using a gas dryer make sure you turn off the gas before cleaning your dryer.

Daily cleaning is insufficient to remove the lint trapped in the lint trap. Use a vacuum cleaner brush or buy a specially designed log thin brush for removing the lint from the dryer.

Drag the clothes dryer ahead so that you can remove the back of the dryer in order to get rid of the lint attached below. Be very cautious and aware of the sharp edges while doing so.

To remove the lint from the pipe disconnect the air hose and the remove it with the help of vacuum cleaner or lint cleaner brushes.

You can also use a mixture of vinegar and water to clean the interior and the exterior of the dryer. Now clean the dryer with a cloth dipped in hot water to get the best results.

You can use a dryer covers widely available in the market or large towel to cover the dryer so as to prevent the top of the dryer from the scratches.

While drying the clothes it is advisable to stack the old clothes first for drying as the there is a chance that some of the particles of your clothes can become loose and get damaged due to the leftovers in cleaning.
