How To Effectively Maintain Your Swimming Pool

Having a swimming pool in your backyard is a plus but maintaining a swimming pool is no less than a pain especially if you don’t want to spend big bucks or don’ t have enough time to spare. You have to manage and maintain accurate chlorine level, make sure that no algae is formed on the pool walls, water pumps are clean and working fine, ensure that other pool accessories are working fine etc.

However, you can hire a professional company to take this pain for you but you need to spend thousands of dollars every year which is not feasible in this economical crunch. Treat your swimming pool with algae preventer/inhibitor. This product is available in the form of liquid and has an ability to stop any kind of algae growth in your swimming pool. You just have to put the preventer or inhibitor into the tank.
 
Super chlorinate your swimming pool at at least once a week to remove any kind of water soluble bathing wastes or of any kind of algae or infections left by chlorination.
 
Use chlorine stick or tablet to disinfect your pool. Adding a chlorine tablet will guard your swimming pool against all kind of bacteria and infections.
 
If you’re swimming poll pumps make noise consider it as a alarming signal as any kind of fault in your pump can result in electric shorts of failure of your pump.
 
Do not keep a pump in your swimming pool that has become too old say for 6-8 years.
 
Always keep a track of the pressure gauge of your swimming pool.If the gauge is not working properly it will effect the poll pump making it less efficient and moreover will build high pressure on the pool’s filter.
 
It is advisable to know water filter of your swimming poll well. Make sure you keep a proper track of the filter in order to keep your swimming pool clean.
