How To Remove Burnt Odor From Your Microwave

The microwaves are the most essential accessory for any kitchen as the use of microwave has made life of women quite easier by reducing the cooking time and at a same time offering quality cooking. But cleaning a microwave is a mess and it becomes more difficult if something got burnt in the microwave. However, you may clean the microwave but the smell of burnt items makes you go crazy and sick.

Prepare a mixture equal amount of vinegar and water in a bowl. Place the mixture in a bowl and keep it in oven for 3 – 5 minutes on high power. The prepared mixture will evaporate all the obstinate odor from the microwave. Always remember to clean, dry your microwave from any kind of remaining water droplets.
 
Fresh lemons are a quiet easy and quick option as they are readily available at home to remove odor from the microwave oven. Take a full lemon juice in a bowl. Do not forget to add the squeezed lemon halves in the bowl to get the better results. Now switch on the microwave with the bowl I it for 1 – 2 mins on high power to fill your microwave with the scent of lemon.
 
The use of charcoal for odor removal is quite simple and effective also. Charcoal can remove any kind of food odor from the microwave. Take a bowl and fill it with charcoal. Place this bowl inside the microwave and leave it for night and all your microwave’s odor will be removed.
 
The most common from of cleaning in household is done with dish detergent. Prepare a mixture of dish detergent in water. Now soak a new sponge in the dishwasher detergent and then leave it in microwave oven for 4-8 minutes on high power. Let the sponge cool and then use the sponge to clean the microwave. Wipe and dry the microwave with the clean towel.
 
Take microwave container and fill it to ¾ levels. Now mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda in it. Leave the mixture in the microwave and heat it for ½-1min on high power in microwave. Leave the mug in microwave for sometime so as the vapors can remove all kind of odor. For a better and more effective results you can clean the microwave with the same mixture.
 
You can use ground coffee also as a smell removal for your microwave. Just take a cup of half filled coffee and place it in the microwave. Remember to keep the cover uncover so that the coffee can keep the odor down. Always remember to change the coffee cup depending upon the usage of the microwave.
