How To Remove Rust From Stainless Steel Objects

You might have observed red colored patches on your stainless steel objects, kitchen items etc. These patches or outgrowths are rust which is formed in stainless steel objects when they are exposed to rain, or when they left wet for long period of time. The stainless steel reacts with the water, and starts deteriorating and develops accumulation of rust on its surface.

The objects with rust should not be used in cooking as they are unhygienic and can be harmful for health causing some serious problems such as tetanus. This article elaborate few easy and quick tips to remove rust from the stainless steel objects ensuring good health for you and your family.

Carefully examine your stainless steel objects and identify the all the rust spots on the object.

On the rusted portion identified on your stainless stell objects spray the cleaner. Spraying the cleaner will weaken the hold of rust on the stainless steel object.

Leave the cleaner for 10- 15 minutes. Allow the cleaner to sit on the rust of the stainless steel object.

After 10 -15 minutes use a scrubber to clean the rust on the stainless steel object. Keep scrubbing until all the rust is removed. If you are using steel scrubber be careful as if u use it strongly it will leave scratch marks on your object.

Once the rust is removed wash your stainless steel wipes away the cleaner and rust from it. Now clean the stainless steel object fresh water and rinse it properly with the help of sponge.
