How To Remove Stains From Clothes Without Laundering

Removing stains from your clothes is quite a challenging and a tiresome job. Moreover stains have a capability of destroying your favorite clothes. For some stains (complex and hard stains), even the stain removers are not effective and are unable to clean your clothes. Certain stains such as stains on wool, silk and other precious fabrics are quite difficult to remove. In this article I have given some tips which will help you in removing stains from your favorite clothes whithout going for expensive laundary. Rust Stains - To remove rust stains from the cloth prepare a mixture of lime juice and salt. Mix the preparation until it becomes thick. Now apply it to the stain. Keep the cloth in the sun for some time with the mixture on it to remove the stain effectively.
 
Oil Stains - To remove oil stains add sugar and water. Mix them together until it becomes thick and forms a paste. Now rub this on the stains. Leave it for some time on the stain and then wash it to get better results.
 
Ink Stains - To remove ink stains, soak the stained portion of the cloth in a hairspray liquid. Let it dry. Now prepare a mixture of water and white vinegar. Apply this mixture to the stain. Wash and rinse the stained portion to get a cleaner result.
 
Silk Stains - Mix 1/2 cup of mild detergent with 2 tablespoons of white vinegar. If you do not have white vinegar, you can use 2 qts cold water as well. Mix all the ingredients together. Now rinse the silk fabric in the mixture. Use a towel to roll the silk fabric in it. Iron the fabric when it is still damp.
 
Lipstick Stains Prepare a mixture of lemon juice and salt. Apply the mixture on the stain. Keep it in the sun for some time and you will find that the stain has disappeared.
 
Fruit juice / Wine stains Add lemon juice and salt together. Mix them properly so as the mixture form a paste. Apply this mixture on the stains. Leave it for 30 minutes. Now rinse the cloth.
 
Perspiration Stains: Add 1/4 cup salt and 1 qt hot water together to form a mixture. Apply the mixture on the satin. Keep it for some time and then wash the cloth.
