How To Remove Stains From Exterior Doors

We mostly forget this section of the house which is actually the most important part. The moment somebody enters the house, the door is the first that that catches his eyes. Exterior doors face all sorts of problems with kids and even adults touching it every now and then. It is bound to get dirty and stained with all sorts of dirty hands touching it. Here are some few tips which could easily help you avoid embarrassments and if followed regularly, will increase the life of the door.

 
Add some soap to warm water and wash the stain on the exterior door. Scrub the handle completely to clean the dirt.
 
Dry your stained exterior door with a towel.
 
Take a rag and apply some furniture wood polish and rub it over the stains the exterior door. This will give a pleasing glow to your door and hide any minor scratches.
 
Take a lint-free absorbent cloth to wipe off excess furniture polish. Rub the cloth along the stained portions to add polish and shine.
 
Polish all the door hardware, such as the handles and the hinges with another lint-free cloth.
 
Use a glass cleaner to clean any glass in your door. Clean the glass on both sides.
