If the tar on your hardwood flooring is easily breakable and weak you can use ice cubes to solidify the tar so that it can become easily removable without harming your flooring a lot.

Use your fingernail, plastic spatula etc to scratch the tar from your hardwood flooring. But make sure whatever you use should not harm your flooring leaving scratches on it.

Remove the leftover or the residue of the tar by scrubbing the floor. You can even use a damp cloth to scrub the stained part of the floor to remove any leftover of the tar.
