How To Transplant Rose Cuttings

Roses are one of the most beautiful flowers known to mankind. They are a symbol of love, friendship and beauty. There fragrance mesmerize while there varied colors are used to decorate homes. They complement every décor and enhance the beauty of the house. To enhance their beauty more, you may divide a rosebush and replant the roses in a new pot. This will enable you to enhance the beauty of the house and also grow more roses in and around the house. All you need to do is know the right way how to transplant rose cuttings. Please leave me a comment and share your rose transplantation experiences with us.

See if your rose has new roots. If it still hasn’t grown its own roots, place it back and allow it to grow its own rots. And if it has the new roosts, follow the next step.

Once you have seen that the rose can be transplanted, trim it by removing the dried leaves or overgrown stems if it has any.

Now take an empty pot and put topsoil and fertilizers into it. Make sure there are no stones or hard substances in it.

Now take the rose and put it into the soil. You may push it a little inside for it to stand on its own. Now put some water into it to moisten the soil.

Give it a little sunlight but don’t expose it to direct sunlight. This may prompt it to dry up.

After you are through with the process, relocate the rose pot to the garden. Relocate your rosebush to the garden area when the proper planting time has approached.

Always remember that transplanting will only be possible if the roots are strong enough to hold the soil properly. If the root has not grown properly, the rose cutting will die.

Be patient and attentive.
